





MINISTRY PARTNER OPPORTUNITIES:
Cornerstone Community Dinners
Cornerstone Community Dinners provide a regular fellowship opportunity for the Cornerstone community and its surrounding areas. Several different church groups are currently involved in the Dinners, providing hot meals (prepared offsite), a time of praise, and caring listeners. The Dinners are a great way for first-timers to "get their feet wet", with a wide variety of available tasks, including:
- Food preparation
- Serving
- Clean up
- Visiting with guests
- Music
- Testimony
Sunday/Wednesday Bible Studies
Bible studies are currently being held at Cornerstone on Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Bible study gatherings are open to anyone wishing to study God's Word. Opportunities are available for:
- Set up/Clean up
- Prayerwalking
- Assisting with Bible Study
- Preparing materials
- Bible studies on additional days (including thematic time-limited studies)
Additional Ministry Partner Opportunities
At present, there are needs for additional ministries in the following areas:
- Children's ministries, such as:
- Weekly Bible School
- Weekly (or more frequently) Children's Skills Club (Tutoring basic reading,
writing, math using Christian materials)
- Christian-based boys/girls troops, such as American Heritage Girls
- Youth ministries, such as:
- Weekly coffee house (Friday or Saturday)
- Weekly (or more frequently) Youth Skills Club (Tutoring, Lifeskills, Job
Preparation)
- Mentoring
- Women's ministries, such as:
- Weekly Women's Bible Study
- Monthly Women's spiritual support group/breakfast
- Women's workshops (lifeskills, spiritual growth seminars, etc)
- Adult ministry groups for living according to Biblical Principles, such as:
- Being a Godly Parent
- Managing Money according to Biblical Principles
- Bible-based recovery groups (such as Alcoholics Victorious)
- Community connection specialists, to assist local persons in need through:
- Maintaining an updated list of community resources for housing, food, clothing,
medical treatment, etc.
- Developing a working relationship with community social service agencies
- Provide referral and follow up for persons in need of help with basic life needs
- Provide updated listings of local employment opportunities
