Volunteering at Cornerstone

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
At present, there are two types of opportunities for service at Cornerstone.  Each has a wide variety of specific volunteering needs, with opportunities for first-timers as well as experienced helpers.

DONATIONS
It is the goal of the Cornerstone Project to avoid duplicating services that are already available from social service agencies in the community.  As a result, the Cornerstone Project does not accept donations of clothing, food, or other goods for general distribution to those in need.  The following items are always welcome as donations for the Cornerstone Project:
  • New Bibles (preferably both Old and New Testament)
  • Disposable paper/Styrofoam products:
        - Paper Towels
        - Toilet Tissue
        - Styrofoam coffee cups
        - Dessert-sized paper or foam plates
        - Dinner-sized (10in or larger) paper or foam plates
        - Plastic drink cups (9oz or 12 oz)
        - Paper napkins
        - Plastic utensils (forks, spoons, knives)
  • Grocery gift cards (for purchasing food used in Cornerstone Community Dinners)
  • Home Improvement gift cards (Home Depot, Lowes)
  • Cash donations

If you would like to make a donation of the above-listed goods for Cornerstone, please contact Frankie Kropp to arrange a drop-off time.  Gift card and cash donations may be mailed to Four Seasons Community Church, 1 Sperti Drive, Edgewood, KY  41017, attn:  Cornerstone Project.  Please make checks payable to Four Seasons Community Church, noting "Cornerstone Project" on the memo line.
